Hey there, I'm a 3rd year Computer Science & Design student studying at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. My interests are Software Development, Web Development and Fintech.
I'm highly passionate about the software development/engineering industry, as I firmly believe that software is the great equaliser of the world. I love learning about new tech stacks, and am constantly on the lookout for new ideas that I can implement.
I pride myself in my core values: discipline, communication, resilience and patience. I'm not the fastest learner out there (nowhere close actually), but my enthusiasm and work ethic make up for my limitations, allowing me to still perform more than adequately.
In my free time, I'm usually at the gym, playing football or reading! I enjoy a great workout as I believe that's the hallmark of discipline. At the same time, I have great relish for philosophical conversations that spur my mind and leave me curious about the world.

My team and I designed and developed a website for DBS Bank as part of their project to reduce number of unnecessary branch visits, allowing customers to seamlessly carry out banking activities online instead. The website was built using the Ruby on Rails framework, with Machine Learning APIs modelled and hosted using the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
My teammate and I developed a P2P online marketplace application, where users can browse, search, sell, and buy products or services from other users. It draws inspiration from Carousell, the first locally well-known application of its kind. The decision to dive into this project was fueled by the idea that it would challenge us with a diverse range of features—unfamiliar terrain from our past work, but not too distant from our current skill set.
As part of a course project, my team and I identified the persistent problem of laundry unavailability in the campus hostel. We used Java and Android Studio to develop an application to solve this problem. We put to use the concepts we had learnt in the course, such as good software Design principles, as well as Object oriented programming. WashWatch, bridges the frustrating gap in the current hostel laundry system by allowing residents to obtain real-time laundry machine statuses at the click of a button, wherever they are.
